A howl of despair

From the middle of the city of Lewiston; blasting out for miles, comes the cry of a lone female wolf. The sound echoes across the night, bouncing across the countryside.

Whoever just made this howl is going to be in serious peril if folks don't get there quick. The sound is a klaxon announcing the presence of a Garou across the area.

John stirs, confused, concerned, and riled up. He turns to whoever is nearby. "What was that?"

Limping Buzzard (In the form of Seymour Schultz,who is just leaving his office in the History Dep't of N.C.C.C.)hears the distant howl and, assumeing Wolf-form, hobbles across the Rez to Indian Hill, where he gives forth an answering howl.

*sewer pipe goes there but in the umbra*

Wishbone accompanies Sewer Pipe, mindful of the pack Alpha's edict. If the park is empty, he'll start looking for spirits who saw what happened.

[Soul of the people returns the howl and comes running. Upon arriving, he encounters mostly Garou that he is only passingly familiar with from the old days.]

"Who cried out."

Sophia shows up looking a little bleary eyed, and her clothing has obviously been thrown on in haste. Seeing the others who have arrived, she approaches, and waits to be acknowledged.

*Looks around and then steps back into the physical.*

What happened? *the big Ahroun is in his massive Lupus form*

"When thing could not get weirder, why or why am I not surprised!" Kevin does not hear the story until a few day later, but has already pondered the idea that this is not good at all. Even though Kevin felt the howl echo threw his ears like beats from a drums three feet away the day it happened, he could not adventure away because Works-for-Food could not protected him from the dangers that might unfold. Since Kevin is still a cub he is restricted from the fun, but sum questions should not be answered.

Wishbone continues to mutter. The Glasswalker is moving even more stiffly and awkwardly than usual, but his motions as he performs the Rite of Summoning are fluid. Finally, though, he shakes his head.

"Can't find any spirits who saw...or are willing to talk about it."

"Can any here call the wyrm? If we could bring whatever attacked her back, she may have a chance to escape."
