I was only asking because i saw some nifty gifts that might make certain tribes stink less.

some of them aren't translated. Dead eye is an amazing ability that allows a re-roll on a ranged attack challenge. in larp terms, spending a willpower to get a retest on firearms/archery seems like a good comparison, but it's a bit too good, and it's a Homid gift. I guess it's weaker when you think about how many willpower challenges there are in this system.

I should have a copy of the wild west larp book around here somewhere.....thus theres plenty o translatin

Followup: Because we're trying to one day enter OWBN, are we sticking with the Garou genre packets from the Org in order to keep consistent? Just curious. Many of the Wyld West gifts are dead in those packets. They also change some of the camps/etc.

what about dark age gifts?

Basically, I am buying the base book, should I bother purchasing the red book? Or the laws of the wild west book? or a dark age garou larp book, if i can find it?

I wouldn't bother win red book. Dark Age and Wild West gifts are going to require quite the umbral expedition to track down.
