Guiding principles - house rules
To clarify. We don't want to get carried away with house rules. Our goal is to run this game by the book as much as possible. To that end, these are the only situations in which we will house rule :
A. Obvious typos - ie, spirit of the fray
B. Clarification - some rules may need to be clarified because the book is vague.
C. Unified player objections - ie true fear. If everyone agrees a power is written incorrectly, we will concider a change.
We will not be holding votes on house rules. We will not be trying to achieve an impossible 'balance of powers'. Some powers are really good, some are toolboxy, this is how it should be.
If we ever have more than one page of house rules, we have failed.
That said, we expect to have formal clarifications for true fear and spirit of the fray on here soon. But the changes we are making there are obvious.
