To say that Sewer Pipe Two words has a distinctive look would not be an exaggeration. His massive frame alone, unusual for the typically scrawny Bone Gnawers, would mark him. Add his heavily lined, racially ambiguous face (usually sporting a long mustache or beard lining his jaw), his various tattoos, and the scars taking up the space the gang or prison tattoos don't on his deep tanned hide, and his strange speech patterns and his merely menacing becomes frightening... and the wellspring of rage simmering below the surface, both Luna Blessed and his own, make him appear to be the product of generations of urban predators, the reason people move to the suburbs and why inner city cops never patrol alone. Grey streaks run through his hair now, and his scarred and lined face is now even more weather beaten and wrinkled. He appears to be in his mid forties....In all his forms he seems to be missing digits.

In Crinos, He appears a slavering thing of nightmare, 13+ feet tall, deep set eyes gleaming, weighing in at over 1200 lbs of Gaian fighting fury,  muscular with cunning eyes and massive jaws and hands. His pelt, where not seamed and pitted with cicatrices and tattoos are a very deep grey, more recently dappled and streaked with the sliver of age. Strangely, he seems most comfortable verbally expressing himself in this form...  though for others hearing the bass rumble of thunder that is his voice in Crinos can be terrifying by itself.

In Hispo, he resembles less the dire wolf of misty prehistory and more of how they might have seemed in the horrified eyes of puny prehistoric man, a inherited horror passed down to modern man in nightmares of being chased down like prey and devoured.  His overlarge jaws and huge teeth seem capable of crushing skulls like candy. His paws bear talons that glisten like onyx and his dark grey fur has stripes of almost black across his back, seeming almost tiger like. Age has yellowed his teeth and given him a grizzled aspect. Brutish and primitive, with sinews like steel cables and grotesquely muscled, he seems an engine of destruction, bred for the kill in this form.

In Lupus, he is obviously an Apex predator. Close to 6 feet in length, 4 feet at the shoulder, and close on 200 lbs, he has more the size of a mastiff than a wolf, but the feral, ever-hungry look in his eyes mean no one could ever mistake him for a dog. His fur is a very deep grey, and he appears ridiculously muscled, his jaws and head almost disproportionately large, scars standing out on his hide.

Character Descriptions. Empty Wishbone

Post  Wishbone Mon Jul 18, 2011 1:32 pm

In Lupus, Wishbone has a face a mother could love. Maybe. Possibly. It would help if she was nearsighted.

He looks like a good-sized mutt, with some mastiff and some husky and maybe some German Shepherd blood in him. It would take a keen eye to pick out the wolf lineage. He'd be homely and ill-proportioned under the best of circumstances, and his collection of scars doesn't help much. His left ear is mostly gone, torn and ragged; his left hind leg was badly mangled by who-knows-what, leaving him to limp along with a comical gait. His fur is coarse, shaggy, and black, except for a white patch in the shape of a "v" on his forehead, doubtless where he got his nickname.

In Crinos, Wishbone is smallish for a Garou, wiry rather than massive, and still limps; those who don't know him might wonder what it was that left his leg so badly injured that he can't heal it, but he seldom speaks of it. He normally carries the implements of his trade with him, in a "medicine bag" that started life as an orange gym bag he probably scrounged out of a dumpster somewhere.

It's not at all common to see Wishbone in Homid, and when he does go about in apeskin, he's clearly uncomfortable. Whereas he's downright chatty in any other form, in Homid, he seldom speaks, and then only as much as he has to. He's not quite as homely in human form as in wolf form, although he's still no prize--grizzled, unkept, clad in an eclectic melange of castoffs that varies depending on what was in the Goodwill donation bin. About the only constant elements of his ensemble are an old battered BDU jacket, with the pockets stuffed full of odds and ends, and the walking stick he uses to get around.

No matter what form he's in, it's easy to tell that Wishbone's a Theurge. He's got that Theurge look to him...you know, the "I'm about to walk into a tree because I'm contemplating the spiritual realm" look. He's not quite as spaced-out as some crescent moons, though; when his attention is on this world, he's usually pretty pragmatic and down-to-earth. All in all, maybe not the one Garou you'd want backing you in a fight, but not a bad guy to have on your side.

Post  Brendan O'Monaghan Tue Aug 23, 2011 1:00 am

Brendan is a stockilly built man of average height, with pale icy blue eyes, pale (what else) skin, and deep black hair. He's muscular in an unassuming way, revealed in his quick, controlled and powerful movements. He tends to common everyday clothing, although several association jerseys make a heavy rotation. His voice is rich, with a brogue that comes from somewhere in central Ireland. A tattoo of a crow decorates his left arm, while a tattoo of an owl newly decorates his neck. When his clothing is thin, script can be seen decorating his back.

In Lupus, Brendan is larger than would be expected. He is leaner as a wolf than a man, stocky power replaced by lithe grace. His pelt is pitch black, save for a red patch on his left shoulder that looks as though someone (or thing) ran its hand through the fur there. His eyes are brighter and clearer in Lupus, and a much deeper blue.

In Crinos, Brendan is a compromise between the two extremes. Not as tall or bulky as others in the sept, but undeniably powerful and possessed of a lean, almost fey economy of movement rather than sheer hulking monstrocity. His pelt remains midnight black, but the red patch now drapes across his shoulders like a mantle, and the fur surrounding his claws achieves the same shade.

In terms of personality, Brendan is an outgoing man, although possessed of a certain reserve. Though as ready for a fight as any member of his tribe, and as able as many Ahrouns, he is decidedly a Galliard. He has a deep and abiding respect for the power of a well told tale, and for the history that inspires them. Those who enjoy his hospitality can expect a warm hearth, a cold beer, and a good tale, while those who anger him will discover the reason why the Fianna have held Tara alone for so very long.

Character Descriptions. Empty Works For Food

Post  Guest Tue Aug 23, 2011 1:35 am

Works for Food appears a bit worn down by time, possibly a former athlete who gained weight with middle age he has a bit of an accent from Appalachia. He is slowly going bald and with a bit of Grey both in his hair and in his Fur in Lupus Form.

In Demeanor he is a bit withdrawn he tends to think before he talks and usually his wisdom is tendered with the Words well My Nana used to say or some such. He is usually accompanied by a Clay Jug which he will freely share nobody has yet found the bottom of the Jug.

He is always tinkering with some new project be it the parts of a still, a lawnmower, or even someone project car. Thirty plus years of Odd jobs have left him with a very odd assortment of skills and a simple attitude which he freely espouses while he is cooking something over a pot. Hey if you want some dig in everyone eats… I can always add some more water to the broth

Character Descriptions. Empty Bane-breaker

Post  Bane-breaker Sun Nov 20, 2011 11:26 am

In homid, Bane-breaker has an average blend of features - she's of average height with an athletic build, short sandy-blonde hair and blue eyes. She's got the general Scandavian coloration with a slight Mediterranean cast to her features, a product of her mixed heritage. She'd identify as German-Italian, only grudgingly admitting the latter. Jack would be considered conventionally attractive, but there's not much that stands out about her. She likes to wear a battered Army camo jacket and jeans of the ripped and torn persuasion.

Jack carries herself well, with neither an arrogant strut, nor a slinking, hunched walk. Her confidence is apparent, though not overbearing, just that she's comfortable in her own skin. On occasion, she walks stiffly, as if in pain, but doesn't notice or draw attention to it.

In her furred forms, she looks a classic Nordic wolf (Pure Breed 3). She's robust and broad, easily bigger than most female wolves, with large paws and jaws. She's a Fenris effigy in miniature, with grey-toned fur darker on her back, bleeding to snow-white on her underbelly and muzzle. The tips of her ears and tail are darkest, almost black. Her back-fur is interrupted by three jagged scars that cross from left-shoulder to right-hip, hairless and almost white with age. She has bright amber eyes and a tendancy to look belligerent and wag her tail.

She has very emotive body language in every form, typically up and pacing rather than lounging about or sitting. She's constantly in motion, unless in discussion with an elder. Jack's just as vocal as she is emotive, and has an opinion about most everything she's more than happy to share. Amongst her peers, she's blunt with her language. She makes jokes and prods at weak points, to see how people react. She's never overtly rude, especially not with those above her in rank, unless it's been earned. She may swear a lot (constantly, even), but she's not intentionally disrespectful. But she won't sugar-coat and will always be honest to other Garou and humans, to the point of nigh-abrasiveness. She means well, but she's not the type to spare feelings if it means correcting bad behavior.

Character Descriptions. Empty Billy Singer

Post  Billy Singer Sun Nov 20, 2011 5:15 pm

"Call me Billy", he says. He appears to be a nondescript Caucasian male, with short-cropped brown hair. Some days we wears comfortable utility clothing, as is typical of Garou: jeans, flannel shirts, boots, that sort of thing. Other days he wears coveralls, faded, worn, and grease-stained. He is rarely seen without a heavy-looking bag, out of which he will occasionally pull ritual implements, hand tools, or thick books.

As for his other forms... strangely, no one around the sept has seen them. Even when he sparred with Buries-the-Hatchet at the last moot, he stayed in homid form. When entering or leaving the caern, he trudges through the woods on homid feet.
