Howls of Greeting

A howl of greeting cuts through the park. For any that answer, a young woman stands at the source. She's dressed fashionably, with long dark hair falling in her face in an almost meticulous manner. She offers a wry grin for any that approach.

A large man steps out from behind a tree, not wearing much beyond summer clothes... but from his shabby attire you cannot tell if this from choice or poverty.

He scans the area around you as he approaches, bag slung over his shoulder...

A large dog (wolf?) bounds up to Aisling, grinning and wagging his tail. In Garou speak

"Hi, hi, hi. I'm Sees in Darkness who are you?"

John approaches silently and cautiously, keeping his distance in case things turn ugly.

*looks over at the cub keeoing his distance, he moves to interpose himself between the youngling and the stranger*

*in a voice with an almost palpable bass rumble*
Who you?

Aisling beams at sees-in-darkness before turning back to the more imposing man. She answers respectfully, first glancing to see if anyone else is around that shouldn't be privy to such information. "I'm Aisling Beleran, also known as Walks-the-Skies. I am coming home, after a time away to better myself. I just heard that we're to return. I hope I didn't hear too late to help..."

*shrug* Always work.. needs doin'.

*turns to Sees...* smell clean? *he asks pointing back at the newcomer*

"Good to hear", and with that she'll kneel down to present herself to sees-in-darkness for his inspection.

"Smells fine. Things have changed. May old ones lost to darkness and mystery. Welcome home."

She frowns slightly at this news, "That's perturbing, to say the least and sad as well. How many have been lost?" At the last, bit she grins at him. "Thanks! I've missed this place. How have things been?"

Bloody. Very Bloody. *spoken matter-of-factly. once Pipe sees announces she is clean, pipe walks away.*

John approaches closer as Pipe starts to leave. He nods to the newcomer, saying, "John Duval. A pleasure to meet you." With a bit of a grin, he adds, "I'm one of the cubs."

Jason lets his cover fade.

"By my count, three. Two of them cubs."

He walks to greet the newcomer. He extends his hand.

"Jason or Whiplash, either works, I like the former, need a hand with bags or anything?"

*A sleek, dangerous-looking pitch black wolf steps out of the shadow of a tree, sizing the newcomer up. ((OOC: Pure Breed x3 Shadow Lord.)) It sits on it's haunches, and speaks in Garou.*

"Welcome to Buffalo. I am Francis Chmielewski III, or Young Frank to most around here, after my grandfather- 'Ol Frank."

John looks at him. "Frank, it's Ellicott Creek. We're not exactly in the middle of nowhere."

Looks over to John.

"Did you bring a leash and baggies for your friend?"

He offers his arm to the newcomer.

"I have a car not far from here lets go some where more.... friendly. John you comin'?"

She offers a conspiratorial grin to John, "Ahh, how nice to meet you in person! We need to have a chat whenever you have a moment!"

She then turns her attention to the newcomer, shaking the offered hand vigorously, "heya whiplash! I am Aisling Beleran. Nice to meetcha!" Her demeanor is as exhuberant as the handshake.

Turning again to address Young Frank, she nods a greeting, and speaks also in garou, "thanks for the welcome Young Frank. It's good to be home. It's also great to see other shadow lords around. We will have to find time for introductions. "

And almost like a kid in a candy shop she turns her attention again to take jason's arm, "Sounds like a party to me!" She glances back at John expectantly, a mischievous grin lighting up her features.

"So Aisling, Tell me about your self, what ya doin here of all places and where ya comin' from?"

Jason leads her away as a good host would.
