Contested Challenges
Since I can't seem to find any rulings in the main LARP books. I will ask the STs. When can you use contested challenges? I just want to know more how it works for the future, so I can use it when needed and later take advantage when I can LOL.
For example (actually a semi real):
Player 1 goes to bite player 2
Player 2 calls for a contested action to claw player 1 in the face, to stop the bite. Player 2 having Might thus not only making it easier for them to attack you, but stop your attack using their might.
So does this resolve both attacks in one bid?
Yes, this is from a brawl with Sewer Pipe. Whatever the STs say on this, I am just curious since I could not find rules on this. I am sure they are somewhere.

Re: Contested Challenges
Okay. Here's how this works.
Player one has Ten Traits.
Player two has Twenty Traits.
Player one declares their action at ten. ("I brutally kick you in the junk")
Plater two declares their action at twenty, ("I hold my action to ten, then punch in the face")
Because players are going on the same init, they resolve simultaneously. This is mechanically only useful to speed things up by putting things into one chop. (I leave the strategy involved here as an exercise for the reader)
If Player one wins the chop, they hit. If Player two wins, they hit.
That's it, pretty simple really.

Ok. I will keep this in mind. And I am glad I don't have "junk" lol. I can make more use of this ruling if and when I get might from rank muhaha
