Talismans and Fetishes Empty Talismans and Fetishes

The following classes of items work in the following ways as per Rite of Talisman Dedication and Rite of Talisman Adaptation, as well as how they function when turned into fetishes. Player gets to decide, upon turning an item into a fetish or talisman, how the items appear in other forms. For example, a garou gets a set of clothes together for homid, including: boxer shorts, crew socks, hiking socks, button down black shirt, leather vest, denim jeans, leather belt, combat boots, glasses, bead necklace with a pendant on it, denim coat, a baseball cap, and leather gloves. These will all count as one item for the purpose of Gnosis restrictions. In Homid, they are all normal, as you'd expect. At the time Rite of Talisman Dedication is used, the player must decide how these respond to the various forms. In Glabro, the clothes stretch with the slightly increased size, and the player decides that all are unchanged. In Crinos, he decides that the jeans and belt should only partially adjust, appearing as jean shorts, the vest should resize as well, and the necklace should also resize. The gloves he decides should become black marks on his fur, and the rest become tattoos under the fur. Finally, in Hispo and Lupus all of them are tattoos, leaving no marks on his fur.

ARMOR/CLOTHING/JEWELRY:
RTD: Items dedicated for Homid will still work in Glabro. Items made for Crinos will only work in Crinos (will meld into them in any other shape). Items made for Hispo will only work in Hispo. Items made for Lupus will only work in Lupus.
RTA: No restrictions between the five shapes.
FETISHES: Count as RTA.

FIREARMS/CROSSBOWS/DEMOLITIONS PROJECTILES:
Note: "Demolotions Projectiles" include flamethrowers, grenade launchers, rocket launchers, and any other ranged weapon that retests with Demolitions instead of Firearms.
RTD: Guns do not resize. Unless specifically modified for use in Crinos, guns may only be used by Homid and Glabro. Squad Support Weapons (such as S.A.W.s or flamethrowers) are much easier for Crinos to use given their larger size. Pistols, even if somehow modified, are very difficult to use in Crinos. Difficult if not impossible to make one for Hispo or Lupus. Firearms are tricky to use in the Umbra because only the clip and ammunition inside the gun when dedicated will still be dedicated and count as a single item.
RTA: Firearms resize and change shape to be used in each of the forms. However, in Hispo and Lupus the firearm is braced around the garou and develops a bite-trigger. When a garou carrying a firearm that has had RTA used on it goes into Hispo or Lupus, he loses the ability to bite (as there's a piece of metal in his mouth) and gains the negative trait Clumsy, as well as is 2 traits down when using said firearm as he must move his entire body to aim it. Keep in mind it is nigh impossible to reload a gun in Hispo or Lupus given the lack of thumbs.
FETISHES: Count as RTA.

BOWS:
RTD: Same as Firearms.
RTA: Same as Firearms except cannot be used in Hispo or Lupus at all.
FETISHES: Counts as RTA.

KNUCKLE DUSTERS/PUNCHING DAGGERS/BRASS KNUCKLES:
RTD: As clothing. Using this in Crinos makes clawing impossible. Can technically be made for Hispo or Lupus but are going to make movement awkward and uncomfortable, and use in combat will be difficult.
RTA: As clothing.
FETISHES: As RTA.

VENEERS:
RTD: Veneers made for Lupus will not resize/reshape. Veneers made for Crinos or Hispo, if Dedicated, will adjust to the other shape without issue, same for Homid and Glabro, though veneers in those shapes are of limited use given the lack of jaw strength
RTA: Reshapes for use in all forms.
FETISHES: As RTA.

MELEE WEAPONS:
RTD: Weapons do not resize, melee weapons generally require thumbs, so Homid, Glabro, and Crinos are typically fine. Holding melee weapons in a character's mouth is possible for Glabro and Lupus, though sheathing it is difficult at best, more likely weapons for the other forms will simple merge or become sheathed on a harness carried on the garou's body.
RTA: While weapons will resize for shape, no statistical change. Otherwise as RTD.
FETISHES: As RTA.

Remember that for Rite of Talisman Dedication, you are limited by your permanent Gnosis. Remember also that fetishes do not count against the number of items bound to you, once they are attuned. While an entire set of clothes counts as one item, a wallet, keys, a phone, cigarettes and a lighter, and so on will each count as a single item, and must be dedicated separately.
