Understanding the World.

Long time folks will have heard me make this rant before, but this might be useful to some of the newer folks. If you want to understand the supernatural history of Buffalo, there is absolutely no better source than the works of Mason Winfield. Lots of what we do draws from old Iroquois mythology, and Uktena and Wendigo players should seriously consider learning as much about that as they can; but everybody can learn a lot about the city they live in, and the local world of darkness we play in, from tracking down these books, Shadows of the Western Door specifically, but his newer Iroquois Supernatural is also quite excellent. Theurges especially would draw great benefit from the latter work.
