Greetings and Salutations

Just saying Hello. My name is Tammy and likely half you people know me already. For those who don't know my real name (Tammy). I play Cassandra Stokes of Malkavian in Dark Jyhad, Elise of Brujah in Blood Snows and sometimes Maggie the Tzimize in the Sabbat LARP (though being on Sunday I am not reliable for that game).

I LOVE Werewolf but have mostly played Table top, but may try out the Werewolf LARP.

Is there somewhere with a list of packs and generally who is in them (Breeds Auspice Tribe etc)? I have a concept but I want to make sure it might possibly fit in a pack. I guess otherwise I make my character, show up and hope I fit in.

Ok. How many packs are there right now?

And I heard the Werewolf LARP is outdoors. Where it is being held?

Well anyways I once tried to play this character and would like a chance to play her more then one session. She has a fun prop.

During the summer we're generally outdoors. Last session we were at UB because of the heat, we haven't decided where next session will be.

I'm out and about at the moment, when I get home, or if another ST beats me, I'll post the general make up.

-pretty sure our only active Child of Gaia died last session...I know he died, can't remember if he's the only one

-Ahrouns
-Galliards
-Lupus

As I said over in Frozen Queen, you're ultimately free to play whatever you'd like, these are just a brief feel of the PC base.

I was not dead set on my concept, I can come up with one that works. Gonna drag my man along to play since he likes Werewolf.

I looked through my old Werewolf LARP books and found; Laws of the Wild Second Ed (red Book), Laws of the Wild(revised); hehehe Book of the Wyrm and Changeling breeds. My compulsion to collect WW books over the years pays off! Those are just the LARP books. I have over a shelf and a half of table top books...drool...

Yep, all of OWbN uses Revised rules when possible.

Just be sure they're aware, OWbN Werewolf is a COMPLETELY different beast than troupe, by-the-book Vampire.

Yea,I mentioned that. Werewolf is quiet different then Vampire, especially if it is played right.

The nice thing about a relatively small game like ours is that ANY concept will have a chance to shine. One of the problems I've always seen with the bigger games is that it's really tough for a new character to find a niche that's not already filled. Here, we have work for just about anyone. We'd love to have more Ahrouns, or Philodoxes, or Galliards, or Ragabashes. We have a lot of Theurges, but that doesn't mean we wouldn't be happy to teach and learn rites with a new colleague. We've got positions enough for anyone who really wants to be involved and active (and some of us who are doubling up on positions would be more than happy to share!)

Looking forward to seeing y'all! The 'Gnawers will make sure to pilfer an extra few hotdogs and an extra six-pack in celebration.

Well even if I make a character I would be sure to have the STs have a look over before roleplaying. I am thinking and trying to make sure its not too close to any character I have. Plus need to figure dress and props. Haha I have a costume all ready that could be adapted to a glasswalker , was for a techo Tremere but only played one session. Tremeres make me feel dirty to play haha

Please stop giving new players R&U ideas...at the very least if she was doing something unusual she should go for Stargazer...Lupus Ahroun...yeah, start at 5/5/5 spirit traits...

The star gazer is however a great plan.

I thought you meant pureblooded White Howlers...they're in the R&U Bylaws...you can technically play them, but you're a Ronin from the get-go. As per Book of the Wyrm, garou of BOTH sides hunt you down to kill you. With VERY few exceptions the BSDs will accept them, but it's rare they're not so twisted and insane from birth they can still function.

Steve is right, I maybe new to Werewolf LARP, but been playing Werewolf on and off for 14 years or so. I nearly have all the Werewolf books, and yes Shortbus Ed has a sexy sexy Klaive in our house.

I have decided Lupus, Ahroun, Child of Gaia; "Guards the Home" or maybe another name. There is a fetish in the 2nd Ed CoG tribebook (and has MeT Rules) that would work great with the character. I will write up and submit the character this weekend.

We'll welcome you with open arms either way. We need CoGs; we need Glasswalkers. I'd actually say we need those two tribes more than any others, at this point.

I've got some supposed interest from Ed Reinhardt in building an influence character to come in with mine. We'll see if that pans out. There may be enough people coming in if all the "possibles" pan out that I an have a pack to come in with, but otherwise I'll be looking for a pack that can use a Homid Ragabash Glasswalker, and hopefully help me cover my tremendous spiritual and combat weaknesses. :-)
