Renown outside of the submission form

Post  MarkWalker on Mon Jan 21, 2013 3:08 pm

Do exceptional actions, outside of the actions listed on the submission form, count for renown?

One I often see in other games in uncovering ancient garou lore, which is often the role of a Galliard, and something I have repeatedly done, but it isn't listed in ours.

Learning who "those who watch" were and their importance to the sept, learning of a defunct tribe, protecting and ensuring that a spirit of unimaginable rarity and importance was safe guarded, are any of these things worth renown? They aren't on the list and aren't something that is considered in our system of renown, unless that's what the box is for at the end?

Are alternate renown lists, postive and negative, allowed? or are we ignoring them for simplicity?

I usually list things like that in the box. There have been several cases where renown-worthy activities weren't covered by the standard checklist.
