Upcoming concert maybe?

So, I know we're all pretty strapped for cash these days but the (great?) Johnathan Richmond is coming to the Waiting Room downtown on June 19th (a Wednesday) for a 7pm show. Tickets are general admission and presale at $16, $19 at the door.

Mr. Richmond is known for such great songs such as "I'm a little Airplane" and "Ice Cream Man" that have been heard on Sesame Street and has appeared on Conan O'Brian's show as well (which is slightly less awesome than the Sesame Street part.).

It's early enough that folks can still go to work in the morning and be responsible adults.

I'm not saying we should all pile in a van and go, but if people are interested in it I'm about 85% sure I'm going to at least try to scrape the money together to go anyway. It'll be fun, and nobody will have to sacrifice a goat for it either!

I didn't say we couldn't sacrifice a goat, but we just don't have to.

I hear they're quite tasty in curry!
